The Best Internet Service Provider In Cave Creek

Here’s a funny story for you… When we were getting ready to move to Cave Creek from Boston, I flew out to look at homes. We pretty quickly found our dream home, I FaceTimed my spouse and we decided to make an offer. We closed on the house and were thrilled. There was only one problem – we didn’t realize that parts of Cave Creek don’t have high speed internet. What? Since we both work from home it became a pretty important task for us to find the best internet service provider in town. Get our experience and the Cave Creekers Infamous Bulletin Board’s vote below!

The Best Internet Service Provider In Cave Creek

Hands down the best internet serviced provider in Cave Creek is Desert iNet. This has been our experience and is continuously the most recommended internet service provider on the Cave Creekers Infamous Bulletin Board! So, how does it work, how much does it cost, what do you need to know?

How It Works

Desert iNet uses access points around town to bring internet to your home. They will come and install a tiny receiver (it looks like a mini satellite dish!) on your roof or someplace with good view to their access point. From there, you’ll have an ethernet cable that goes to your router or device and, voila, internet!

How Much It Costs

Desert iNet currently offers four internet packages for Cave Creek residents. They are priced depending on the speed you are hoping to achieve. Their packages are:

  • Blazing Fast at 75 Mbps for $94.95 per month
  • Fastest at 50 Mbps for $79.95 per month
  • Faster at 25 Mbps for $59.95 per month
  • Fast at 7 Mbps for $49.95 per month

Our Experience: The Pros

One of the obvious pros is that you get relatively good internet that otherwise wouldn’t be available. We also love that their support team is johnny on the spot when it comes to responding to any service calls. We appreciate that they are a local company and that the installation is relatively non-invasive.

Our Experience: The Cons

We’ve had true high speed internet before and will say that Desert iNet does require more reboots than what we are used to. Additionally, we find that any thunderstorms or wind typically reduce speed or take out our internet completely.
