While the global COVID-19 pandemic has certainly paralyzed many compontents of our society one thing is for sure, people’s need to move is almost greater than ever. According to AZCentral, in 2020, metro Phoenix home prices increased faster than in any year since the housing boom. This was largely due to a significant increase in demand.
While my real estate business has remained active, my highest priority has been the safety of my clients and partners. Below are a few of the changes I’ve made to my business model to ensure your health and wellness.
COVID-19: My Committment To Helping You With Your Real Estate Needs While Keeping You Safe and Healthy
There’s no doubt that face-to-face commnication with my clients is my favorite. However, outside of physically viewing homes, the majority of my client consultations will be held virtually. Whether you work better over phone, FaceTime or Zoom, I’m committed to utilizing the technology that works best for you.
Purchasing a home is a big decision. I understand that not everyone is comfortable making that decision virtually. However, for initial showings (especially for out-of-state clients relocating to Arizona), I am happy to conduct virtual showings of properties over FaceTime. If you’d like to see a home in person the following safety measures will apply.
I am a hugger and handshaker at heart however have recently converted to a hand waiver! We will take appropriate measures to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet at all times.
When meeting in person I will always wear a face mask and kindly ask that you wear one too.
I will frequently use hand sanitizer both before and between showings and interactions. If you need hand sanitizer, I will have it with me for all showings and consultations.
I take the added precautionary measure of checking my temperature on a daily basis and would encourage you to do the same.
Observing Seller Preferences
As a seller, it might feel like a precarious time to have people in and out of your home frequently. With my seller clients, we will discuss your preferences for showings. This might include the need for all visitors to wear masks, sanitize hands, wear booties and even hand gloves. All of these decisions will be up to you. I will provide the supplies to leave at your home and hold my fellow real estate agents and partners accountable to these requests.
I promise to be open and honest with you about my current health situation and I hope that you will do the same. If I feel unwell, I will let you know and may even need to cancel an in person showing. If you’re feeling unwell, please tell me and I can preview a home for you and safely FaceTime you in.
While these are my personal pandemic procedures, the information is every changing. I encourage you to frequently visit the Center for Disease Control to stay up to date on how you can best protect your health.
I want to thank you in advance for understanding these added safety measures. It’s a difficult and strange time for many of us. Please know that your health and well-being are my top priorities and that I look forward to working together with you safely.
